The resort's remote location limits options for activities outside the hotel!!! Refurbishing is desperately needed in many areas, especially the pool where grout is lacking around sharp tiles.

The room was nice styled and large even with all the glass, the staff was SUPPER FRIENDLY. The breakfast was served in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Nice pool area, marvellous breakfast with the better options, a mix of Asian and also pastries. Location close to the hill side as well as beaches with free shuttles from/to at certain specified times. Also, on the shores.

Beautiful private beach area.
The wifi in the room was awful, unacceptable for any modern hotel. The overpriced meals forced us to leave the premises to find affordable options. Lastly, the late pool hours made it impossible to enjoy a swim after dinner.

The private pool by the beach was a game changer! Spent hours swimming and listening to the waves, my own slice of paradise. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, had to try everything at least twice!
It was a bit pricey, but considering the experience, it was still reasonable.

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and always eager to assist. When we arrived there was noisy building work over the road and the reception staff did all they could to pacify us. The villa room with a pool is a luxurious and relaxing place to stay. The design of the room and bathroom had a real 'spa' feel to it and it was extremely comfortable and spacious. The hotel is slightly away from the main busy Chaweng which we liked. We walked the beach to Chaweng one day but had hired a jeep which made getting around a lot easier and cheaper than a taxi. A one-way taxi into Chaweng was 200 baht. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Nora Buri will be a fine hotel when it has been completed.
The hotel is not finished. There is extensive building work going on to complete the hotel. The room we had actually booked and paid for was not built yet hence the updgrade to the Villa with a pool. The leisure facilities were not available and one had to use the fitness room at the sister hotel Nora Beach. The Nora Beach is no comparision to the Nora Buri - we very nearly stayed there instead but, on viewing it, made our minds up that the incomplete Nora Buri was far more superior. The hotel complimentary shuttle bus into Chaweng only had two departure times in the morning and two back in afternoon/evening. The more convenient tmes were chargeable at 200 baht. This service should be more frequent and completely complimentary.

The hillside villa with private pool provided fine views and absolute privacy. The 24/7 buggy service was a lifesaver. Breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was next to a Thai restaurant and a Western restaurant, the hillside devided by a road in order to get to the beach and Thailand on holiday thanks to its stunning and incredible location. Moreover, it was about 5 mins walk from Nora Beach.

Perfect getaway for couples
We stayed 2 nights in a pool villa beachside, and it was fantastic! The pools are huge, and our villa was super spacious with a nice view. Breakfast had tons of options. Staff were really friendly, especially at the bar. One bummer was that the beach felt kinda rocky for walks.

The layout of the hotel with smaller buildings spread over a green hillside, but still close to the ocean. It was cosy even if very big. Great views from the ocean view rooms. The pools - we love infinity pools and this hotel has two, both on the hill and by the beach. Close to airport but absolutely no problems with noise from planes.
We missed an in-house shop or kiosk, where you could get smaller items such as water, chewing gum, batteries etc. I also think the hotel would benefit from having more evening activities or entertainment directed towards kids, that might make people choose to stay and eat at the hotel more often. The room was great value, but very basically decorated - no pictures or decorations on walls and absolute minimum of furniture.
